WE LOVE DOGS! It’s that simple!

Dog boarding and dog daycare are what we love to do the most! Team members at Metro Dogs Daycare & Boarding are trained in canine behavior. Our staff has included professional trainers, dog handlers who have worked at other daycare facilities, vet techs and vet tech students.  We’ve volunteered with animal shelters, various dog rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations.

In short, your dog is in good hands at Metro Dogs!

| Owner/Operator

Amy Rosenthal has always been connected at the hip to a dog of some kind…from a 90-pound boxer to 14-pound terrier-poodle Oliver the Metro Dog. After a successful corporate career, Amy followed her inner puppy to the Animal Humane Society where she worked in corporate relations. She served on the board of Helping Paws, an organization that trains service dogs for people with mobility disabilities. Today she and Oliver are a registered Pet Partners Therapy Team.

Amy is a founder of PetPAC (Pet Professionals and Companies), a Twin Cities professional association for small businesses in the pet industry. If you need any type of dog-related resource, Amy can connect you to it.

As the owner of Metro Dogs, Amy is managing all aspects of the dog boarding and dog daycare business. She has studied canine behavior and body language, attended classes on managing play groups, worked on site at a nationally recognized leading daycare training facility, and is certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR.

Amy is on site nearly every day at Metro Dogs Daycare & Boarding, getting to know your dog personally, and making sure that your dog is loving his/her experience in our cozy dog kennels.
